QUOTE: "Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings." โ Alcoholics Anonymous True humility begins when I admit that my own willpower is insufficient to overcome the defects that hinder my growth. By acknowledging my limitations, I open a space for a Higher Power to work within me. This is not a sign of weakness, but a profound act of surrender that shifts my focus from self-reliance to spiritual reliance. Today, I practice this surrender by inviting my Higher Power to address the character flaws I have identified. I release the need to control the timing or the method of this transformation. Instead, I remain willing and open, trusting that as I humbly ask for help, I am granted the strength to move forward with a clearer purpose. My recovery depends on this daily alignment with a power greater than myself, allowing me to live with greater peace and usefulness.
